    • Deploy and use the IMEx "way of working" for day to day operations, problem solving, escalations and continuous improvements.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee the changeover cleaning in liaison with several functional groups such as OSP, Quality, Technical Services, Safety, Engineering, validation and RFT.

    • Engage and inspire the team on performance expectations and coach the team to meet those expectations using Coaching Skill principles.

    • Lead, direct and coach PCT including developing and communicating objectives, priorities, development plans and conducting performance reviews.

    • Know the processes and procedures, including the principles and practices of good data management (ALCOA), and be able to guide, advise and coach the team.

    • Be accountable for the Good Data Management and Data integrity understanding and performance of the team.

    • Effectively monitor the actions of the team. Ensure an active daily presence in the GMP work area to observe the work activity and practices within their role responsibilities.

    • Be available to direct reports for real time escalations of any concerns or support needs

    • Be observant, investigate and report actions or behaviors that may negatively impact the desired outcome of the GMP process or activity.

    • Be a role model to support a positive compliance culture.

    • Review the content of all Leader Led Conversations and, on an annual basis, conduct two 'Leader Led Conversations' with the team aimed at fostering a culture that supports compliance with procedures, including good data management.

    • Be vigilant for potential actions or behaviors that could result in breaches of GMP compliance or Data Integrity principles.

    • Responsible for budgeting for changeover cleaning and drive continuous improvement.

    • Ensure all the invasive preventive maintenance and calibrations are planned and executed during the equipment changeover with minimum down time.

    • Promote safety amongst the team and ensure that all investigations, process-related QARs, incidents and deviations are fully completed and closed in a timely manner.

    • Ensure that documentation metrics meet targeted levels and that the systems are in a constant state of regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.

    • Apply RFT tools, as appropriate, in resolving issues and make appropriate decisions as to how to move forward.

    • Work with supply chain team to ensure the availability of reagents and bulk chemicals required for cleaning.

    • Ensure that equipment changeovers are optimized and equipment is made available as per the production plan

    • Implement initiatives for improving the RFT for changeover cleaning and schedule compliance of change over.

    • Play an active and impactful role to deliver flawless execution for the PCT by updating performance against metrics, highlighting & resolving issues, with appropriate escalations

    • Work with the PCT to identify and drive improvement as per the continuous improvement (CI) goals of the PCT

    • Develop courses of action and drive implementation of solutions.

    ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

    Work closely with the Operations Manager, Technical Services Manager, Process Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Engineering Managers, Safety/Quality Assurance Managers, and QC Manager.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive flawless execution

    Participate in Pfizer Global Best Practices Teams.

    RESOURCES MANAGED

    Financial Accountability

    Manage and control operations section as per the budget plan, for payroll, overtime, spending on cleaning reagents/solvents and minor plant modifications

    Supervision

    • About 3 direct and 5 indirect staff.

    • Coach and mentor colleagues, recognize their strengths and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.

    • Support colleagues in setting their goals, calibrate goals (including breakthrough goals) at team level.

    • Assess colleagues' performance based on achievement and impact of outcome-based goals.

    EDUCATION

    • Degree in Science or Engineering, advanced degree preferred.

    EXPERIENCE

    • 5-10 years relevant experience within the API or related industries, familiar with changeover, cleaning validation and tank farm operation.

    • Demonstrate ability to act decisively and independently to resolve issues.

    • Possess a can-do / pride to succeed attitude.

    • Embrace the use of digital technology to scale and speed up every form of interaction and action.
