Ringaskiddy API site in Cork plays a critically strategic role within Pfizer, it is the global site for new small molecule API products through scale up and launch, as well as manufacture of large volume patented and off-patent medicines.
An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Planner/Scheduler to join our Quality Control leadership team on a 23-month fixed term contract. Our QC department consists of 5 teams (Raw Materials, Intermediates, IPC, API and Stability) based across three laboratories in Ringaskiddy focused on batch release, AMTE and Validation activities to support the manufacture of key Pfizer medicines at the Ringaskiddy site.
In your role you will support an efficient and compliant Quality Control function within the Ringaskiddy facility. This role is key to the QC department meeting its commitments through managing the schedule for the team. The role requires the building of excellent peer relationships within and outside of the QC department to ensure the optimum schedule is agreed with stakeholders. The role requires an excellent technical/functional/digital knowledge of appropriate systems and incorporates providing technical support as required for improved laboratory performance.
