    Position summary

    Position Purpose

    A position to deliver the breakthrough medicine, the first Gene Therapy (GTx) in Hemophilia field in Japan, to the hemophilia patients. With pioneering and agile mindset, this position will prepare and execute launch plan. This position will explore, develop, and pave the pathway of treatment journey to ensure that patients will have access and seamless treatment to this breakthrough medicine timely by closely collaborating with various cross functional team within the company.

    Primary Roles & Responsibilities

    • Develop launch plan by clarifying the treatment journey and shape/prepare the environment to establish seamless treatment

    • Lead the development and execution of Launch Plan, including long-term strategies, Long Range Forecast, and Operating Plan. Analyze market research results, competitive intelligence, and customer insights, understand the challenges in the patient flow, product flow, and payment flow specific to GTx, and develop strategies in cooperation with cross-functional teams (MA, DJ, Access, PA, PGS). Constantly observe trends to accurately grasp market dynamics.

    • Execute PDCA cycle of POA with agility and revisit strategy and tactical plans as needed to achieve annual goals.

    • Collaborate with Hemophilia Portfolio Lead to develop positioning of Hemophilia portfolio including other hemophilia portfolio, and optimize go to market model

    • Define roles of each team member and develop the necessary capabilities according to the Player & Coach model. Maintain high motivation of each member and improve their productivity for better results.

    • Establish partnerships with business critical KOLs through good communication.

    • Communicate with cross-functional team members (Sales, Finance, Medical, Development, PGS, Policy & Public Affairs, External communication, etc.) including the global team, and communicate brand strategies for better actions and collaboration.

    • Manage and evaluate eternal partners and agencies, and develop constructive business relationship

    • Conduct operational management to ensure compliance, SOP adherence and demonstrate expertise. Assume responsibility for monitoring and oversight of promotional materials as a supervisor to ensure brand manager's activities.

    Experience        

    • Marketing experience of at least five years, preferably in pharmaceutical industry

    • Experience in launching new products is preferred

    Education・Certification 

    • Bachelor’s degree or above

    Language         

    • Japanese native and fluent in writing and speaking English
