Our manufacturing logistics and supply team makes sure that customers and patients have the medicines they need, when they need them. You’ll help bring medicines to the world even faster by embracing challenges, imagining what’s possible and taking action.
The LSP Specialist is the key liaison between the Pfizer appointed 3rd party logistics service providers and appointed freight forwarders.
Through coordination and by means of performance reporting and business review meetings, s/he will ensure the LSP works according to GDP / GMP and Pfizer quality standards and are aligned with the contractual performance agreements.
S/he will also have a focus on continuous improvement to further strengthen the LSP’s performance.
1 . Day to Day follow Up
− Ensure LSP is executing the orders according to the service agreement and KPIs
− Has oversight of the serialization process and ensures execution according to the relevant SOPs
− Issues notification, management, and resolution of incidents with relevant Pfizer and LSP stakeholders
− Management of change control with Pfizer and LSP stakeholders
− Accountable for the organization of material handling activities within both the component and distribution warehouse as well as PO management in line with the set budgets
− Supports SOP / WI creation and review
− Slow moving stock review and appropriate application of destruction procedure
− Ensure appropriate GDP / GMP requirements are applied and always met
2. Monthly review meetings and performance monitoring
− To conduct monthly review meetings with the LSP ensuring issue resolution and improvement
To ensure LSP is meeting their metrics according to the service agreement. Provide relevant reporting to management in timely manner. In addition, action tracking, follow up and closure is required where appropriate.
3. Inventory Reconciliation
− Ensure cycle counts and inventory reconciliation are conducted on regular basis. Analysis of variances for issue resolution with the appropriate stakeholders
− Ensure completion of relevant monthly audit controls in timely manner
4. LSP Budget follow up
− Responsible for meeting supply chain objectives related to cost, quality, and service, and for supervising warehouse activities and KPI metrics reporting, including but not limited to:
− Ariba PO management related to the LSP activities
− LSP actual cost analysis to ensure budget goals are met
− Replenishment / procurement of the tertiary packaging materials
− Yearly budget preparation
− Support operational budget management
− Coordination of the total warehouse capacity
5 Operational Excellence (OpEx) and project support
− Continuous improvement is all aspects of the role through risk management and the application of OpEx and Zero-defect methodology internally and with LSP providers
− Provide support for all warehouse-related / impacted projects
− Active coordination and support to interdepartmental, and cross-functional workgroups within and without Pfizer.
6. Organizational culture
− Lead sustainability initiatives by connecting with relevant internal and external stakeholders and governmental agencies

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s in administration or equivalent by experience in a supply chain related discipline
EXPERIENCE
Min. 3-5 years’ experience and background in GMP / GDP warehouse environment budget management Temperature Control Logistics
