    Position summary

    Reporting to the Sr. Director of Regional Product and Launch Management Lead, the Regional Supply Lead (RSL) orchestrates product launches, acts as primary point of contact for regional Commercial and project lead to drive speed to market on launches; supports supply related strategic projects and strategies in the region.

    This role is responsible for project management and execution for launch activities in the Supply Chain area to bring products to market on-time with aligned commercial plan, develops risk mitigation plan, anticipates and escalates launch related issues to management and key stakeholders for decision and support.

    He/ she works in close partnership with the APAC Market Planning Hub, local market Customer Supply Chain team, Global Supply Chain BU teams (Brand Supply Leads and Product Portfolio Leads), PGS sites and other key stakeholders (e.g., Regulatory, Quality). He/ she also interfaces with Commercial team including Medical, Marketing, Category Lead and Regional Therapeutic Area Leads to align strategic plan in support of product launch acceleration and business growth.   

    The role provides key input into the Global Brand S&OPs and facilitate Regional S&OPs with full cross-functional engagement (PGS, BU, Finance). In addition, he/ she will need to develop processes, systems and structures that are aligned to our long-term supply chain vision of autonomous supply chain and visibility.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Launch project management: Partner with Business and Commercial stakeholders, Medical, Regulatory and all relevant functions to develop comprehensive launch plan and strategy in the supply chain area. Lead launch activities for the assigned portfolios/ brands by working closely with markets and sites, as well as global functions and stakeholders to drive speed to market. Actively manage and report project status, action plans and changes to revenue targets to the management and key stakeholders.
    • Launch excellence: Develop governance, processes and tools to bring transparency across the organization to achieve fast decision-marking. Lead continuous improvement activities on launch processes to bring acceleration to launches and maximize revenue for the market.
    • Regional supply chain strategy: Partner with Global Supply Chain BU teams (PPLs/ BSLs) to develop strategic product initiatives and supply strategies, support localization and technology transfer initiatives for the region.
    • Product life-cycle management: Support key product Life Cycle/Change management activities for the assigned portfolios/ brands. Ensure coordination and robust plans are in place for all key Lifecycle/ PNS related changes by working closely with markets and sites, as well as global functions and stakeholder.
    • Regional S&OPs: Facilitate Regional S&OPs, establishing agenda content, preparing material and coordinating inputs from various stakeholders.
    • Complex supply issue management: Support APAC Market Planning Hub team to identify innovative solutions to complex supply issues and recommends courses of action to management.
    • Organizational capability development: Support regional supply colleague developmental efforts and participate actively in Global Supply Chain Community of Practice to share and leverage best working practices.

    Qualifications & Technical Skill Requirements

    • Degree or equivalent.  Supply Chain or related discipline preferred.  

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain/ Planning in an international environment preferably from the Pharmaceutical industry.

    • Deep understanding of the APAC region, and market dynamic.

    • Substantial experience in project management and cross-functional team leadership

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external resources at all levels.

    • Strong planning and analytical skills.

    • Knowledge and skill in ERP Systems for E2E Supply Chain Management Processes.

    • Strong verbal and written English required.

    • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

    • Must be process oriented

    • Must be able to work effectively in both a team and an independent environment

    • Aptitude to influence others and obtain their cooperation to specific objectives

    • Ability to present, convince, and execute initiatives

    • Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills
