    The Value and Evidence Center of Excellence (VE COE) is responsible for ensuring patients have affordable, timely access to medicines and vaccines by advancing innovative value and evidence solutions — to inform healthcare decision-making.

    ROLE SUMMARY

    The Senior Manager, Value & Evidence (Health Economics and Outcomes Research [HEOR]) Pipeline Vaccines will report to the Value & Evidence Asset / Indication Lead and be responsible for the execution of high-quality evidence generation and synthesis activities for Pfizer’s pipeline assets with a focus on Lyme disease to support optimal access and reimbursement. The near-term focus will be to provide support to ex-US markets as they prepare their Health Technology Assessment (HTA) deliverables for vaccine technical committees. The selected candidate will also support the Value & Access Team in developing strategies to support the Value & Evidence Strategy (VES) for vaccine candidates.  

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

    • Bachelor degree minimum required / Master’s degree (MSc, MPH) in HEOR-relevant field such as health services research, health economics, epidemiology, pharmacy administration/pharmaceutical policy, or other research-focused public health field
    • Doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, ScD) in relevant field preferred
    • Experience: 7years minimum with a bachelor's degree; 6 years minimum for a master's degree; 2years minimum for a PhD or JD - experience in HEOR-relevant field
    • Demonstrated understanding of and experience conducting fundamental HEOR-relevant research: systematic and targeted literature reviews, health economic modeling, epidemiology studies, database analyses, patient reported outcomes, development of large global scientific compendiums (e.g., GVDs or other value communication tools)
    • Direct project management experience and ability to manage the following: multiple projects involving complex processes, contracting & budgeting, external vendors to deliver high quality products on time, competing deadlines, and rapidly shifting priorities
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to understand and respond to multiple internal and external stakeholders
    • Skilled functioning within a matrixed organization, where managing through influence is required
    • Excellent oral and written English communication skills

    The annual base salary for this position ranges from $127,400.00 to $204,000.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.

    Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
