    Senior Support Specialist

    Role Summary

    Supply Chain Business Support (SCBS) is a team that is dedicated to supporting the digital solutions that enable the clinical supply chain to operate efficiently while also ensuring a superior level of quality and compliance. A critical system within the digital ecosystem is Axis 360 which is built on the Microsoft Dynamics platform and is highly integrated with the clinical supply distribution system.  This application is the primary system for inventory management, weigh and dispensing, manufacturing, packaging, quality release and labelling of Investigational product that will be distributed to support the entire clinical portfolio including grant, expanded/ compassionate access studies and Phase I-III programs. Given the critical nature of this system and the growth in the clinical portfolio this position will play an important role in ensuring seamless support, system configurations and reporting to support over 1000 users globally.  This team will also be involved in upgrading Axis 360 to Dynamics 365 and to replace the Distribution System to have one single system.

    This role underpins key activities including global business system administration, troubleshooting, reporting, end-user support, training, inspection readiness and regulatory compliance for all in scope applications. This position will interface closely with system users, other SCBS staff, Digital, Quality Assurance (QA) and vendors. This position will routinely participate on small to large scale cross-functional project teams to help assess technical impacts of business decisions, collection of business requirements, support the system validation process, participate in quality investigations, and ensure business needs are delivered on time, on budget and with superior quality.

    THE ROLE

    • Steer and/or participate on cross-functional project teams from a business perspective to design, develop, implement, enhance, migrate and/or interface systems.
    • Prioritize SCBS tasks to accommodate recurring and ad hoc activities to include reporting, end-user assistance, inspection readiness and regulatory compliance.
    • Lead and/or support the design, development, and delivery of training programs and/or documentation.
    • Help/aid the development of relevant procedures.
    • Lead the design and generation of ad hoc and validated business reports utilizing established or new tools.
    • Provide customer service assistance and represent SCBS to internal & external customers.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead or participate on projects that enhance supply chain systems and process.
    • Participate in quality investigations related to GCS systems in partnership with other technical or Pfizer Digital resources.
    • Guide the SCBS team in internal and external Artificial Intelligence projects

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proven in-depth experience working in a clinical supply chain setting, preferably in digital or manufacturing or packaging role. 
    • Degree in a Technical, Scientific or Business field desired
    • Experience and comprehension of system validation / software development lifecycle
    • Experience reviewing and writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Comfortable preparing and presenting ideas and information in a variety of settings
    • Requires strong inter-personal and customer service skills
    • The ability to be independent and learn new skills quickly.
    • Must be able to quickly triage issues, escalate when needed and meet tight deadlines

    PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Skilled in a variety of reporting tools such as Alteryx, Spotfire, Tableau, Dataiku and other SQL tools
    • Skilled in use of HP ALM Quality Center
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite including advanced skills MS Teams and Power Automate
    • Skilled in the use and maintenance of the Jira system
    • Skilled in use of RPA robot tools
    • Familiarity with programming languages i.e. Python, JSON and XML
    • Familiar with Azure, Redshift and AWS platforms
    • Data visualizations skills a plus
    • Technical writing skills a plus

    May require occasional after-hours work, particularly on software release dates
