    The Sr Associate, Analytics Developer is responsible for delivery and all aspects of engineering activities for data and analytic platforms/solutions. The role should support the strategic direction of data, analytics, and business intelligences by working with the Director Data Eco-System & Institution Engineering Lead in developing roadmaps using standard technology stacks in direct support of commercial revenue generation.

    The ideal candidate is a passionate and results-oriented Analytics Developer with a proven track record of building analytics pipelines, Analytics products, and Insights for the Life Sciences and Healthcare industry.

    What You Will Achieve

    Your technical and business skills will help Pfizer support and elevate the functioning of business information processing systems. Your knowledge of computer systems, business processes and workflows will make you a critical member of the team. Your strong communication skills will facilitate requirement gathering for building and enhancing business process maps and systems. Your business process and technical knowledge will help us develop new systems and modify existing business applications, such as inventory control, financial tracking, marketing and human resource system.

    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

    Reporting to the Director Data Eco-System & Institution Engineering Lead, The Sr Associate, Analytics Developer will be responsible for the delivery and all engineering of analytical and data related solutions to commercial business units and Global data and analytics program across the commercial business.

    • Lead the technical design and implementation of multiple smaller or large complex Business Intelligence (BI), data management, reporting, artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics projects, that maximize the value from data in answering business questions that accelerate the building of a healthier world and improve patient lives.• Implement end to end analytics solutions to support commercial business objectives, including data curation, data analysis and manipulation, visualization and deployment.• As part of a team, implement strategic Analytics projects sourcing and integrating data from the relevant data sources to meet the needs of a highly dynamic and data driven commercial business. • Dive deep to investigate potential Data quality issues.• Partner with CMO Data science, performance insights and brand facing Insights & Strategy teams to build analytics solutions for specialized Global markets and commercial business units.• Responsible for technical planning, data & architecture design, data modelling, technical implementation, solution development, and the communication of technical progress to key stakeholders.• Collaborate within EDSE colleagues for successful design, implementation, and delivery of multiple projects.• Working knowledge of advance analytic, data science, and AI techniques and, apply sensible data engineering principles to create interoperable and fit for purpose data products.• Work with the business, Digital stakeholders, and partners/vendors to capture key requirements, translate them into projects in alignment using Pfizer's approved standards & architecture and seek approval for projects following the standard governance processes. Where appropriate, conduct prototyping and innovation sessions.• Work collaboratively with other Pfizer Digital teams for platform and infrastructure enablement, including platform/tool selections, architecture, estimation, and technical solution design.• Work collaboratively with multiple teams to deliver viable Business Intelligence technical solutions through building relationships.• Serve as the first technical escalation and resolution point for all engineering phases of assigned projects.• Maintain solid customer engagement with key stakeholders, including business, enabling functions and Digital colleagues.• Assist in the creation of thought leadership materials to drive BI innovation and technical roadmaps. • Perform hands on development of BI solutions and manage solution design delivery from third party partners/vendors• Partner with other enabling functions (e.g. Biopharma Operations teams) to advance BI capabilities in the market

    Qualifications

    Professional Experience and Educational Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred, with preference for degree holders with a focus in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent project-related experience• 3+ years of Analytics data engineering, data analysis, BI or analytics development experience in large organizations, engineering multiple smaller or large/complex projects• 2+ years of related work experience in commercial data and analytics with business acumen and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects and outcomes• Significant experience in engineering Business Intelligence (BI), data warehousing, reporting, big data, advanced analytics & Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions in large organizations, both in traditional waterfall and agile approaches• Practical knowledge of AI applications in data management using Large Language Models, such as, OpenAI ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot• AI data engineering experience is a plus, as well as, hands on experience in statistical models and Machine Learning algorithms• Experiences in working with advanced data platform technologies, such as, Snowflake • Programming ability in Python, Java or other object-oriented programming languages preferred.• Solid understanding of Agile, SDCL, CI/CD, is preferred.• Experience in building data visualization tools and requirements.• Extensive experience working in agile setting or bring agile best-practice mentorship to the team. • Familiarity with data privacy standards, pharma industry practices/GDPR compliance is preferred.• Prioritizes excellence in Analytics development by following F.A.I.R. principles and adhering to engineering and documentation standards set for by the organization.• Experiences in data analytics automation and business process automation using AI, ML, low-code, no-code tools.• Working knowledge of contextual data management capabilities in supporting context-aware/context driven analytics and AI models• Must have strong technical skills, ideally from a hands-on engineering / IT background and ability to leverage this experience to define and deliver projects in an agile environment leading to faster, better, and cost-effective outcomes is a key differentiator• Expertise in cloud-based architectures, cloud analytics products / solutions, and agile methodologies to enable rapid cycles of development and release of analytics and data products / solutions• Experience in developing and socializing business cases with both technical and non-technical audiences• Exceptional organizational skills, verbal & written communication in English, along with interpersonal skills that allow for collaboration across a diverse group of people
