    Position summary

    ROLE SUMMARY

    The Digital Finance organization creates, configures, and runs digital products, platforms, and solutions that support Pfizer's core finance business functions such as Financial Consolidations, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Treasury, Tax, Compliance, Internal, and External Reporting.

    This Sr. Manager role is a hands-on technical lead role responsible for developing/supporting financial reporting visualizations leveraging on-premise and AWS cloud platforms, delivering new/ next-gen features using innovation by building fast track proof of concepts (using Microstrategy and web technologies), and then industrializing the solution build.

    Pfizer seeks a candidate that understands budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting processes and their application to solving business problems.  The candidate is highly self-motivated, eager to explore new technologies, and is effective when working in a team environment. A strong aptitude towards self-development and growth is highly desired.

    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Build integrated solutions on a consistent foundation architecture and manage interdependencies with other Digital solutions to create a world-class end-user experience
    • Design and implement data models to support large scale business intelligence reporting, including the creation of attributes, facts, and metrics
    • Create integrations with enterprise portals, mobile integration, write back to source data based on analysis by the business users, alerts via email, mobiles based on predefined events
    • Ensure that solutions are aligned with the overall Finance Digital strategy and that requirements are reflected in the final product
    • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve system performance and end-user functionality
    • Maintain expert-level technical knowledge in all areas of financial management solutions, industry trends, competitive offerings, and internal Pfizer offerings

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field
    • 7 years of demonstrated experience working in development and/or support teams
    • 5 years of experience in MicroStrategy as a Developer/Architect
      • Proficiency in the understanding of MicroStrategy services, architecture, and best practices
      • Proficiency in architecting, developing, deploying, and debugging MicroStrategy applications
      • Strong dossier of development experience
      • Knowledge on performance tuning, subscription, and caching techniques
    • Experience with database technologies (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL)
    • Exposure/ experience with Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, ReactJS/ NodeJS, .Net Framework and web technologies a big plus
    • Experience with ETL Tools (Informatica, Talend, etc.)
    • Exposure to AWS cloud platform (S3, EC2, Aurora, Glue, etc.)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Exposure to Finance reporting applications
    • Project Management expertise in managing multiple projects
    • Familiar with SDLC/Agile methodologies
    • Exposure to DevOps processes
    • MicroStrategy Developer/Architect Certification
