What You Will Achieve
Our Digital Solutions team is responsible for the creation & delivery of key strategic enterprise solutions supporting Pfizer’s Market Access & Revenue Management functions. This is an exciting space with extensive global market dynamics and an opportunity to interact with various international stakeholders. The Salesforce Solution Architect is a key role responsible for designing, prototyping, and implementing scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will partner with Product Owners & Digital team members to design robust software that meets unique business needs. Your experience with Salesforce solution strategy, implementations, technical integrations, and architecture will contribute to further advancing our product capabilities. How You Will Achieve It
Responsible for design of business-critical Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices and meet/exceed customer expectations. Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, JavaScript), integrations with back office systems (through the use of middleware and API’s) and complex data migrations
Work with business product owners to assess business requirements and translate those into customized & scalable solutions using the Salesforce platform
Provide guidance on application and integration development best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, functional and technical solution architecture & design, environment management, testing, and Platform education
Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions with other team members. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality
Collaborate with Product Manager and Support Operations team to review releases and roadmaps from Salesforce and evaluate opportunities, as well as potential impacts to current applications, orgs, and solutions.
Negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the product teams and third-party service providers
Partner with the Support Operations team to ensure considerations for long-term support requirements are identified for all new solutions
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
7+ years of relevant technical experience with minimum 2 years of Salesforce Architect experience
At least 2 Salesforce Certifications
Experience developing custom and declarative solutions using Salesforce framework and technology stack
Experience with Continuous Delivery of complex Salesforce solutions
Follow established Salesforce development standards and best practices
Strong interpersonal skills and experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
Additional Salesforce Certifications that may include Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, User Experience Designer, System Architect, or Application Architect
Technology certifications such as Copado, GitHub, Test Automation Tool Suites (e.g. Pytest, Selenium)
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
