Why Patients Need You
Our manufacturing logistics and supply team makes sure that customers and patients have the medicines they need, when they need them. You will help bring medicines to the world even faster by embracing challenges, imagining what’s possible and taking action.
What You Will Achieve
Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in planning and managing the efficient flow of products and services through the Pfizer supply chain cycle. You will be responsible for the import or export of products, which includes activities, such as planning and scheduling, ensuring related customer service and brokerage. You will manage customs transaction compliance, maintaining compliance with in-county and international regulations governing the shipment, receipt and documentation of imported/exported products and negotiating with foreign customers to develop handling agreements.
As an associate, your focus on the job will contribute in achieving project tasks and goals. Through your domain knowledge and commitment, you will create a collaborative team environment for your colleagues.

How You Will Achieve It
Contribute to completion of project milestones and organize own work to meet project task deadlines.
Monitor and achieve efficient operations by assuring proper system interfaces between Pfizer and any other required parties (interface checks).
Monitor accuracy and completeness of supply chain systems and arrange for corrective action where applicable.
Ensure accurate Inventory visibility at the Distribution center Logistics Service Providers.
Monitor transit progress, work with couriers and consignees to resolve any clearance delays and/or requests for additional documentation or information.
Manage preparation of Logistics and Supply Chain Reports, Mitigation Control Reports, Segregation of Duty(SOD), Sarbanes-Oxley(SOX)).
Support investigations and commitments related to product shipments, assist with on-site inspections and audits.
Responsible for record keeping and associated file retention requirements per Pfizer and applicable regulations. Maintain all export records.
Perform packaging, labelling and shipping of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Non-GMP materials.
Collaborate with various functional stakeholders like Business Unit colleagues, Above Market Planning (AMP) Hub, Regional Supply Chain, Logistics Service Providers (LSP), Regulatory, Quality Operations (QO), Finance, Health & Value team.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelor’s Degree.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.
Knowledge of domestic and international logistic and government regulations.
Good Written and oral communication skills.
Experience with inventory management concepts.
System Application and Products knowledge.
Nice-to-Have
Experience in an Import/Export environment.
Be a self-starter, be accountable and have a sense of urgency in delivering results that have medical impact and yield a positive customer experience.
Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
Possesses a positive, continuous improvement mindset.
