You will help to ensure that patients and physicians have the medicines they need when they need them. This position will be part of the Organizational Learning Team within Quality Systems.

    What You Will Achieve

    The Training Associate will provide training solutions to support the business needs on the site. This will be done through the development, delivery, and maintenance of training (elearning and instructor-led delivery) in accordance with regulatory, corporate, and site policies.  Maintenance and development of training programs will include instructional design, needs assessment, and curricula development.  In addition to instructor-led training and elearning, the Training Associate will also serve as an administrator of the site’s Learning Management System (LMS), which entails development and maintenance of training curricula and data entry. This role will partner with functional areas to ascertain training needs, obtain requisite knowledge, and develop required training programs.

    The successful candidate will have prior experience with assessing learning needs, design and development of elearning and other training material (e.g., PowerPoint slides, skill checks, assessments), delivery and facilitation of instructor-led training, curricula design, data entry, and customer service.  With guidance from the Organizational Learning manager, you will collaborate with other Organization Learning team members and SMEs to design, deliver, and maintain training content that is engaging, interesting, and holds learners’ interest while also leveraging adult learning theory/best practices.

    This role will support and participate in site-wide and corporate training initiatives, which may include instructional design and delivery, creating and implementing communications plans, project management, creating/revising curricula, and tracking associated metrics.  In addition, the successful candidate will be able to independently manage several concurrent projects related to the training program, the learning management system (LMS), or associated business processes.

    How You Will Achieve It

    • Design training materials and revise existing materials, and associated curricula, based on business need; training materials may include instructor-led or elearning content.

    • Design and deliver training in a variety of formats: ILT, Teams, Storyline, etc.

    • Complete data entry into the Learning Management System and complete data entry review. Archive original GMP documentation including attachments associated with training records.

    • Create and maintain task-based curricula.

    • Work independently, managing assigned actions and deadlines, while receiving general supervision on routine assignments and detailed direction on new work.  Communicate effectively to both peers and management with strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Create and foster collaborative customer relationships by focusing on meeting customer needs and responding to training-related questions/issues.

    • Work collaboratively with Organizational Learning team, site SMEs, and peers from other sites.

    Qualifications

    Must-Have

    • Applicant must have six years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with four years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience.

    • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation/training skills, attention to detail, and planning/organizational skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, with a high customer service focus.

    • Familiarity with document management systems, such as PDOCS, Generis, or Documentum.

    • Relevant training experience; internal applicants must have documented completion of a Pfizer Train the Trainer course, such as TRN-3464.

    Nice-to-Have

    • Internal applicants should have documented completion of a Pfizer Train the Trainer course, such as TRN-3464.

    • Prior experience working with a Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as SumTotal.

    • Familiarity with document management systems, such as Generis or Documentum.

    • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience, or experience working in another regulated industry.

     
     

    PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

    This position will spend significant time in an office and training environment, however, may occasionally be required to enter a production, warehouse or laboratory environment, in a training capacity, and must be able to wear all required PPE.

    Work Location Assignment: Flexible
