    About the role

    The VAM (Virtual Account Manager) is an innovative, creative and demand generating role with a strategic vision for Pfizer primary care medicines and vaccines.

    Strategize and formulate plans with your manager and team on how to continue growing revenue, customer satisfaction and recurring business within your accounts.

    Be creative and active across social media/omnichannel to ensure maximum exposure in order to build a presence and pull in the market.

    Communicate directly with selected customers, which will include General Practitioners (GP’s), Pharmacists, GGD’s and travel clinics, via all possible virtual channels and face to face.

    Be responsible for implementation of a virtual detailing and engagement platform with the customers based on the customer data analysis, targeting and segmentation.

    You will be a pioneer in digital solutions and collaborate with the key internal stakeholders to implement the strategy to meet agreed business objectives. You will also be responsible for pro-actively providing relevant product and service-related information that support the commercial account strategy to drive our success as a team.

    You will interact and navigate across the organization and set up an effective network with our stakeholders (internal/external) to ensure early awareness of all (clinical) benefits of the product and application principles in the therapeutic area.                                                                                                         

    Main responsibilities

    • VAM is responsible for virtual (incl. digital) and face to face communication with a selected segment of customers to drive the information delivery and multichannel applications on certain disease areas and assigned products demonstrating effective communication and selling skills.
    • Disseminates information via multi- and omnichannel communication in the customer target group via the customer preferred channel​.
    • Is an expert in using the latest technology brought up from virtual and digital applications and is able to come up with creative and innovative solutions to support communication and education related to our disease areas.
    • Contribute to driving Pfizer Netherlands overall commercial success, revenue, and business growth by generating demand for the assigned products and by promoting them.
    • The VAM can perform historical/data analysis to identify account trends on services per request from account teams and provide awareness on drivers of account performance.
    • VAM ensures customer management and administrative systems/processes are maintained and updated to ensure an accurate record is available at all times.

    About you

    • Bachelors’ degree in health or science
    • Ability to communicate effectively and strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication and listening skills
    • Basic medical knowledge
    • Driving license B
    • Experienced in digital communications/virtual engagement
    • Preferably understanding of primary care health system
    • Broad knowledge and implementations of digital/multichannel tools
    • Dutch (C2) and Business English (C1)
