As a Financial Specialist Senior within PNC's Shared Services Finance/Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH.
This position is primarily based in a location within PNC’s footprint. Preferred locations are listed in this requisition. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manages and oversees a variety of financial management and accounting services. Generally manages support for one or more business sub-segments within the Business Technology and Innovation organization.
• Manages information to support quarterly and annual external reports and preparation of internal financial and business metric reports.
• Manages and produces the annual budget process and monthly forecast updates for assigned business sub-segments. Manages strategic planning process. Identifies ways to outperform. Reviews quarterly GAAP checklists to ensure external disclosures are complete and accurate.
• Structures and manages performance monitoring and communications appropriately and delivery of ad hoc finance and accounting analysis, including management accounting analysis. Works closely with Accounting Policy on new accounting standard adoptions affecting their business. Performs/Reviews technical accounting research and documentation on issues affecting their business.
• Structures and manages the preparation of reports and analysis in response to requests and requirements of auditors, regulators, and investors. Promptly identifies and addresses control matters; maintains sound control processes.

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
