As a LOB Risk Spec Sr within PNC's Technology Risk Management organization. You will be responsible for issues management and risk and control self-assessments. Prior experience in technology audit and/or risk management is required.

    This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. Preferred locations are listed in this requisition. Responsibilities require time in the office or in a field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    • Responsible for working with technology issue owners to ensure issues are remediating risk and being executed in a timely manner
    • Acting as a Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Coordinator to identify and manage risk gaps and prepare for control testing
    • Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., 2LOD, Audit)
    • Helps identify how policies, risks, and controls show compliance to regulatory standards
    • Uses strong communication skills to influence technology partners and escalate to upper management if a project or issue is off track
    • Presents risk portfolio to upper management on a regular basis

    Job Description

    • Executes the Line of Business Risk Management program, identifying opportunities for enhancement where applicable. Enables line of business adherence with risk management programs.
    • Participates in the design and development of the risk management program to meet business and regulatory expectations. Leads in the design and development of specific risk management program components.
    • Executes the risk management programs within or across the lines of business (e.g. - business self-assessment and quality reviews). May lead cross functional teams.
    • Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit).
    • Leads or influences risk initiatives and business as usual activities. Identifies risk, assesses impact and makes recommendations on resolution. Reports and escalates risk and program compliance as appropriate.

    Work Experience

    Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
