Prudential’s Long-Term Care (LTC) business includes both individual and group products. The position is for an individual contributor who will be an integral part of the LTC valuation team responsible for financial reporting, liability projection, and support for projects including the implementation of GAAP Long Duration Targeted Improvements. Responsibilities include:
• Support meeting financial reporting deadlines in quarterly GAAP, statutory, and tax reserve production processes.
• Execution of controls to support production and model change management processes.
• Working with internal data management, assumption development, analytics, model governance, and model development teams, as well as external vendors, to implement valuation model changes.
• Assisting in process improvements for the valuation team.
• Supporting external requests (experience studies, pricing, audit, finance, corporate actuarial, etc.).

Qualifications

• College degree or above.
• Ongoing actuarial exam progress.
• Self-motivated and strong drive for results; Must be a team player.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong experience in MS Excel and MS Access including VBA.
• SQL and other programming experience preferred.
• Long-Term Care knowledge and experience preferred.
• Experience with the PolySystems software preferred.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $63,400.00 to $94,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
