    Prudential Financial, one of America’s largest diversified financial Services Companies, seeks a skilled and highly motivated individual to become a member of our Group Insurance Planning & Analysis team. The successful candidate will join the Compensation Modeling team within GI Finance Retained Organization.

    The team’s primary responsibility is to design sales incentive compensation plans for Group Insurance’s Distribution organization and external brokerage firms to support the strategic priorities of the Group Insurance business.  A successful candidate will possess strong communication and partnering skills, have the ability to be inquisitive and self-motivated, be detail oriented, and be comfortable working in a dynamic process. 

    The candidate will be primarily responsible financial modeling of sales incentive plans and the supporting the commission forecast reporting and analysis process.  This involves but is not limited to active listening, critical and creative thinking, time management, data analysis, and presenting to leadership.  Presentations to various levels of business partners tie in the many aspects of incentive compensation planning, from market strategy and financial alignment to industry and employment best practices.  This position provides an excellent opportunity for motivated associates to learn many facets of the GI business, as well as exposure to many levels of leadership and the business units that comprise Group Insurance. 

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Designing and maintaining financial models and tools for the development of sales incentive plans
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the business to develop and evaluate plan design changes
    • Support the development of the commission forecast by leading the facilitation and coordination of workflow and materials across a variety of teams
    • Analyze compensation key drivers and sales outcomes
    • Prepare presentations including plan recommendations, highlighting changes or trends, and providing analytical insight
    • Compose sales incentive plan documents including annual plan details, broker compensation brochures, draw letters, and guarantees

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (advanced degrees a plus)
    • 3+ years of sales incentive compensation, financial planning & analysis, or related experience
    • Advanced Excel skills required for large dataset manipulation and analysis
    • Strong PowerPoint and MS Word skills
    • Experience in Anaplan a plus
    • Proven ability to analyze data and underlying driver of financial results
    • Highly organized with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and manage multiple projects
    • Proactive with an aptitude for problem solving and process improvement
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and business writing skills
    • Results driven and detail oriented

The salary range for this role is from $68,400.00 to $101,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
