    Position summary

    closely with senior business leaders to translate BU and functional priorities into structured commercial opportunities. This role serves as a trusted advisor across the business, connecting stakeholder needs with GSP's full suite of capabilities-including Sourcing & Category Management, Contracts/CLM, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), and Systems & Analytics.

    The Director will be part of a team of relationship managers and value analysts who identify opportunities, model financial impacts, drive adoption of procurement processes, and ensure the delivery of meaningful, P&L‑aligned outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build deep partnerships with BU and functional leaders (including numerous senior executives) to understand strategic plans and surface potential sourcing, savings, supplier‑innovation, and risk‑mitigation opportunities.

    • Translate business needs into structured opportunity briefs for GSP category, sourcing, and analytics teams.

    • Assess and compile action plans pertaining to procurement control reporting (e.g., compliance, maverick spend, guided‑buying adoption, contract coverage) through Systems & Analytics dashboards and facilitate corresponding action plans.

    • Coach stakeholders on procurement processes, interpreting KPIs, and navigating the sourcing lifecycle to improve efficiency and experience.

    • Develop and refine financial models that quantify cost mitigation, cost reduction, margin impacts, and supplier‑driven value.

    • Ensure relationship management teams leverage AI‑enabled tools for opportunity sensing and insights generation.

    • Collaborate cross‑functionally with FP&A, Sourcing, Category leads, CLM, and TPRM to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery of procurement services.

    • Represent the GSP value proposition across assigned business units and functions, ensuring stakeholder engagement and adoption.

    • Guide and develop junior PRM team members; provide coaching and feedback to ensure strong performance and career growth.

    • Support global operating cadence across U.S., Japan, Ireland, and India procurement teams.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    • 10+ years of experience in procurement, consulting, financial analysis, or supplier management.

    • Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders and influence without authority.

    • Strong communication, commercial modeling, and storytelling capabilities.

    • Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving adoption of new processes, technologies, or operating models.

    • Curiosity and comfort working with digital tools, including AI assisted analysis.

    What we offer you:

    Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $147,100.00 to $220,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
