    The Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) technology team supports many of the critical Business Units across the Enterprise. The Director, Tech Lead for the GRC Technology Team owns the technical and architectural decisions for this group while also providing mentorship and leadership across the team.

    We are looking for a highly motivated Tech Lead who is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done! This role will have the opportunity to build the technical foundation for GRC across the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Guide teams on technology strategy related to coding practices, continuous integration, and automated deployment. Work across larger team/function/organization to build positive relationships.
    • Responsible for technical design and infrastructure / environments strategy, including deployments, ensuring that these are kept in-line with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) mindset.
    • Mentor and coach the technical team on project deliverables/timelines as well as career/people development. Coach and educate team on industry trends and new technologies, elevating the business acuity of the team.
    • Help the team to develop a solution and address all surfacing problems at hand. Constantly look for innovative ways of solving technical problems and crafting the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo.
    • Identify and remove technical impediments making connections across work/teams and applying broad network to tackle sophisticated technical impediments. Work towards identify and removing non-technical impediments such as organizational or business issues.
    • Work with the leadership to craft the roadmap with strengths and opportunities within the technical stack. Bring forward business acuity and knowledge to influence decisions. Share and contribute across larger organization.
    • Works with vendor and enterprise technology on application compliance, application upgrades, patches, and security.

    Qualifications:

    • BS in Computer Science/Information Technology or experience in related fields

    • Experience as a technical leader working with agile development methodologies

    • Clear, professional interpersonal skills including excellent listening skills.

    • Positive relationship building and teamwork skills to work with technology groups across the enterprise

    • 7+ years of overall IT experience

    • Extensive knowledge of API’s, XML, Spring Boot, REST, JavaScript

    • Active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and improve the team’s potential

    • Must be a fast learner with a desire and ability to learn new skills

    • GRC experience is a plus
