    Exciting opportunity for Manager/Lead level Business Systems Analyst / Project Manager to partner closely with Chief Investment Office (CIO) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) investment professionals to analyze, define and implement solutions to business needs/objectives. You will lead analysis and projects/initiatives throughout Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by partnering with both the business and technology communities.

    This advanced hands-on business analysis position leverages both investment / financial knowledge as well as technical skills, and requires exceptional analytical, conceptual, communication and problem-solving skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze, formulate and deliver technology solutions, informational needs and analytical insights for effective decision making for Chief Investment Office (CIO), Financial Risk Management (FRM) and PGIM Asset Managers
    • Lead/manage a portfolio of projects and technology platforms within iRisk (Enterprise Investment Warehouse) ecosystem, including the Limit Monitoring System (LMS) of investment capacity/compliance and limit breach resolution
    • Design and integrate ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) analytics solution
    • Spearhead business analysis for Statutory Leeway limits compliance framework
    • Partner with investment professionals to define solutions to business needs including eliciting, analyzing and documenting requirements, making recommendations, prototyping, diagraming process flows, facilitating brainstorming sessions, and leading implementation / resolution
    • Partner with the development team on implementation approach and design, technical specifications, test plans, test cases and quality assurance
    • Troubleshoot production and test issues, perform root cause analysis, reconciliations, recommend corrective action and lead the resolution efforts
    • Perform deep analytical dives on data / requirements / business impact while being able to distill, summarize and communicate findings at an executive level

    Qualifications:

    • Candidate must have highly developed analytical, conceptual and critical thinking skills. Must enjoy solving complex problems and implementing creative solutions in a dynamic investments and technology environment.
    • Solid understanding of various investment instruments and their characteristics / analytics (especially Fixed Income securities and Derivatives) is required
    • Hands-on experience with one or more skill sets is required: Business/Systems Analysis, Project Management (PMP), Agile (Scrum Master, Product Owner/Manager), Investment/Financial Reporting/Analysis, Investment Operations, Process Engineering, Quality Assurance, or similar analytical experience in a complex business / systems environment
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) are required. The position will require constant interaction with investment professionals as well as technologists, often leading cross-functional teams.
    • Strong organizational skills, resourcefulness, attention to detail and passion for quality are a must
    • Client focused and results oriented work ethic is required
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Business or Engineering is preferred. MBA or pursuit of CFA is a big plus.
    • Working knowledge of data analysis / visualization / reporting using Tableau, IBM Cognos Analytics or other Business Intelligence (BI) tool is preferred, along with advanced MS Excel and ability to read / understand SQL
    • Experience running Agile or Waterfall methodologies throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is preferred. Technical experience with data modeling / databases / architecture, testing or computer programming are a big plus.
    • Working knowledge of Fixed Income, Risk Management, Portfolio Management or Asset Liability Management (ALM) is preferred

    Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $108,000.00 to $160,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
