The Enterprise Digital Technology team is seeking a senior level mobile developer to work with our Prudential mobile experience. This exciting position will offer a qualified individual the opportunity work in a team of engineers who are intrigued by how things work and are constantly looking to make things better. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has a passion for technology, and a desire to provide outstanding customer service.
The successful candidate will work on building and maintaining a mobile cross platform application that will enable best in class mobile experience for our customers.
This position requires an individual with strong analytical, programming, problem solving, organizational, and technical skills who must be able to work on complex.
Responsibilities:
Design and build advanced mobile applications using Cross Platform technologies (React Native)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with outside data sources and APIs
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements:
At least 5 - 8 years of experience working in technology.
Proven software development experience for mobile.
Proven working experience with React Native, Flutter, Kotlin or Swift.
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Experience and strong understanding in mobile authentication, security and data encryption techniques.
Familiarity with code versioning tools like GIT.
Prior experience working in continuous integration model
Prior experience in AGILE environment, TDD and Unit testing.
Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $108,000.00 to $160,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
