    Prudential is seeking an individual who is analytical, motivated, and a collaborator for a Manager of Strategic Initiatives role within its Financial Wellness organization.

The organization provides financial education, tools, and solutions to help individuals with their critical financial needs.

    The Manager of Strategic Initiatives will play a significant role in various high-impact projects, ranging from strategy development, identification of partners for enabling various capabilities, business development to expand distribution channels, and execution of projects to implement these strategies. The person in this role will collaborate with multiple functions and business organizations within Prudential and have significant visibility to senior leaders.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have sharp business acumen, strong analytical abilities, familiarity with corporate finance principles, strong project management skills, and the ability to work well with a broad range of business partners. The candidate would also have good command over Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

    Responsibilities:
    • Support business/strategic analysis for developing or fine-tuning strategic direction.
    • Development of executive decks with storytelling and creation of business cases.
    • Lead competitive analysis to understand market trends.
    • Lead data analysis for identifying improvement opportunities and setting yearly/quarterly goals.
    • Collaborate with the data analytics team to track progress against goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with the product development team to fine-tune the product roadmap.
    • Assist in the execution of various projects by providing analytical and project management support.
    • Support business development activities for identifying partners.
    • Assist in the publication of thought leadership white papers.
    • Assist in driving the internal control process for approval of new capabilities
    • Coordinate the quarterly process to assess our progress against annual goals

    Qualifications:

    • Strategy consulting experience preferred.  
    • Minimum of three years’ experience in an analytical role, preferably in a business strategy organization.
    • Ability to synthesize complex topics for driving clarity in decision-making. 
    • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguous situations. 
    • Experience in creating strategy documents for senior-level audiences. 
    • Ability to create financial models based on a given strategy and business development situation. 
    • Demonstrated ability to project-manage complex projects.
    • Ability to work well with others, especially in a cross-functional, cross-business, matrixed environment.
    • Expertise in PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Experience in regulated industries is a plus

    *** This is a hybrid role. Must be able to commute to Newark NJ.

    Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $111,400.00 to $165,800.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
