    Position summary

    The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Relationship Management team that manages the company’s strategic bank and reinsurer relationships.

    The candidate will interact with various internal groups including PGIM, Chief Investment Office, US and International businesses as well as Corporate functions in support of key strategic initiatives. The individual will also have an opportunity to develop and maintain relationships with our key banking and reinsurance partners.  The Relationship Management team sits in Treasury and partners with the Borrowing, Liquidity, Capital and Rating Agency teams in the same department.  The team supports bank activities and opportunities, which include funding and capital markets transactions, liquidity solutions as well as various other services. 

    The objectives of the team include:

    • Manage the enterprise-wide Banking and Reinsurance Relationship Program (~30 banks, 10 reinsurers and minority, woman and veteran-owned broker/dealers)

    • Serve as a trusted advisor / consultant to internal stakeholders

    • Be the in-house subject matter expert for bank and reinsurance intelligence (products and services, strategy) 

    • Build and implement an enhanced Bank Engagement Strategy by taking a strategic management approach, to enable business growth and initiatives 

    • Secure credit and financing for Prudential to support our liquidity and capital frameworks

    The Primary job responsibilities for this position include:

    • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and form trusted partnerships

    • Support our Diverse Banking Program, identifying opportunities to drive further collaboration

    • Assist in development and implementation of Bank Engagement Strategy to strengthen our relationships and better serve Prudential’s businesses

    • Conduct analysis on fees paid, other relevant relationship information, and crystalize the insights to communicate for senior management action

    • Design and implement performance management metrics and scorecards for the program

    • Facilitate dialogue between banking and reinsurance partners and Prudential Business Units/Corporate Centers on existing engagements and new opportunities

    • Collaborate with Prudential businesses to assess activities with banks/reinsurers, and engage as appropriate (e.g. escalation of unresolved issues)

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in finance, accounting, economics or business

    • Minimum 5 years related work experience in Treasury, Finance or Banking

    • Strong analytical capabilities, financial modeling and/or strategy experience preferred

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment in decision-making

    • Intellectually curious, ability to form new relationships across Prudential

    • Project management and internal communications across diverse internal senior connection points

The salary range for this role is from $111,400.00 to $165,800.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
