    In PGIM Fixed Income, our technology group is a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with exciting changes on the horizon under new senior leadership. We are looking for a dynamic, agile-minded Scrum Master to help drive forward our new Agile transformation initiative within our Global technology divisions. Our ideal candidate will not only act as an instrument of change but will act as a primary a liaison between business and technology. As a scrum master, you are a “servant leader” and coach for your specific agile value stream team members, helping to facilitate the agile process and remove any blockers which may be impeding delivery. You are responsible for exhibiting “Agile leadership” and helping to build a high-performing team. Specifically, you are responsible for teaching and coaching team practices, facilitating meetings for your scrum team, helping your scrum team eliminate impediments, facilitating flow of work and driving delivery.  If this sounds interesting, then PGIM may be the place for you.

    What You Will Do:

    • Act as servant leaders to the team in ensuring that the highest priority needs of the team are met, impediments are removed, and the team can operate in a high-performing environment.
    • Drive the agile process in the team by leading ceremonies and help to educate the team on scrum ways of working.
    • Create and maintain an environment that enables the delivery team to be successful in realizing committed epics
    • Remove impediments for the team by helping to communicate, coordinate and cooperate with other teams or members of the business to resolve critical issues.
    • Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions that will impede delivery on agreed stories
    • Enabling the team to self-organize and self-manage in order to collectively agree how the work will be delivered.
    • Lead teams through retrospectives which drive meaningful discussion in order to help the team continuously improve.
    • Assist with reporting, metrics, tooling and automation

    Skills You Will Need:

    • 2-4 years of experience acting as a Scrum Master
    • Tableau, Jira, Excel, Confluence and Jira Align experience
    • Strong understanding of software engineering and development, database management or infrastructure engineering.
    • Deep understanding of scaled Agile principles.
    • SAFe Agile or CSM Certification required
    • Investment management and/or financial services experience.

    Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations.

    The salary range for this role is from $155,000 to $185,000.    Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
