    Position summary

    Job Classification:

    The PGIM Investments Technology organization is seeking a passionate professional for a full stack hands-on .NET Technical Manager role. This rewarding role will lead development and support of technology platforms for Portfolio Construction, Trading and Operations functions within Investment Research group. This role requires solid understanding of market data, data flows along with technical skills to lead applications development involving relational databases, web technologies and using modern tools for reporting & analytics.

    Your Impact:

    • Align with the Product Owner/s in assessing business needs and transforming them into scalable technical solutions meeting tight deadline
    • Lead a global development team on multiple projects and collaborate with Business partners and peers within cross-functional organization.
    • Multitask per changing priority by analyzing existing processes, and data flows to identify inefficiencies and provide continuous application improvements
    • Drives low-level design and contributes to high-level architecture with the support of the team. Champion modular design, reuse, high cohesion, and loose coupling
    • Identify and implement of emerging technologies that deliver business value
    • Provide production support (business daytime functions and occasional after hours)
    • Be a role model in ensuring software standards, non-functional requirements, and quality targets are met
    • Navigate through organization to implement the best solution
    • Communicate project status and challenges to leadership team and business partners using stats from DevOps tools.

    Your Technical Skills:

    • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in software development
    • Strong understanding of OOPs concepts and implementation
    • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server – database design and advanced SQL programming - creating Views, Indexes, Tables, Stored Procs, Triggers, Functions etc.
    • 7+ years of experience with developing n-tier applications using Microsoft .Net technologies including C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core, MVC, Web API, REST, ADO.Net, Entity Framework, LINQ
    • 5+ years of experience using web technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular
    • Working experience with using Third Party data, API and Secure transfer methods
    • Significant experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Experience with a variety of data feed types, including JSON, XML, Excel, and SOAP
    • Experience using reporting and analytics tools including but not limited to Tableau, Cognos, PowerBI
    • Knowledge of Autosys, TFS, Agile project methodology, Jira, Confluence & Dev Ops

    The salary range for this role is from $115,000 to $160000.    Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

    Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.

    Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement
