    Our Role: PGIM Private Capital (PPC) Loan Operations team is looking for a highly motivated individual to support PPC’s Direct Lending product. This Manager position will act as the relationship manager for external clients and support new product launches for PPC’s Direct Lending business.

    The Direct Lending strategy within PGIM Private Capital responsible for originating, underwriting, and managing a portfolio of privately placed leveraged loans for middle market issuers ($10-100 million of EBITDA).  Due to the strong performance of that track record coupled with growing transaction flow, PPC has recently closed on its first third-party fund, PGIM Senior Loan Opportunities I (PSLO I) with $2.4bn in commitments. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Relationship Manager for all Fund Administrators and Third-Party lenders
    • Provide day to day support to Fund Operations, deal teams and other business partners
    • Integrate current SOP with new product launches including new banks, systems and reporting requirements
    • Assist in ongoing management of multiple middle market Direct Lending products (CLO, BDC)
    • Assist with the execution of transactions by tracking upcoming deal closings and managing the funding & hedging process
    • Review and approve funding and cash movements, trade settlement and notifications while ensuring Third Party cash is released
    • Review and execute forward hedging models with Prudential Global Funding to mitigate foreign currency risk
    • Approve and review accurate trade booking, new loan setup and reconciliation of cash discrepancies
    • Provide technical support to staff in researching discrepancies and determining solutions
    • Manage controls, research and resolve tactical issues
    • Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure documentation to comply with enterprise and departmental standards

    Your Required Skills:

    • 6+ years in the banking and financial services industry
    • Bachelor undergraduate degree (all subjects areas considered)
    • Previous exposure with Direct Lending and private credit funds is a plus
    • Previous exposure with Wall Street Office or Allvue (fka as Black Mountain) is a plus
    • Strong attention to details
    • Strong PC skills, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel
    • Excellent communication and analytical skills
    • Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving experience required
    • Ability to convey sense of urgency and to work productively with both internal and external business partners

    Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations.

    The salary range for this role is from $110,000 to $140,000.    Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
