    Our Role:

    The PGIM Private Capital (PPC) Information Technology & Services team supports PGIM Private Capital with both vendor and internally designed applications, processes, and reporting.  We are looking for an astute, determined professional like you to fulfill a Senior Developer role on this team. You will showcase your success through collaboration, ownership and innovation. Your knowledge in emerging trends and practices will evoke stimulating discussions around optimization and change to help keep our competitive edge.     The successful candidate can work out of any of the existing PPC office locations: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Newark, New York, or San Francisco

    Your Impact:

    • Analyze business requirements and help to determine implementation strategies 
    • Understand and follow the complete Software Development Life Cycle methodology   
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with Information Technology team and business partners 
    • Work on multiple tasks simultaneously   
    • Perform adequate unit testing on developed code 
    • Provide technical support for Production issues resulting from new deployments or other scenarios, and implementing fixes to prevent future outages 

    Your Required Skills:

    • 3+ years of experience working on development of web-based and distributed applications 
    • Proven experience in various front-end technologies: C# .NET, ASP.NET, AJAX, HTML, JavaScript/Jquery 
    • Proven experience in SQL server database design, development, integration, and reporting (SSIS and SSRS are a plus) 
    • Experience with architecture, design, and development of ASP.NET web applications   
    • Knowledge of development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) is a plus 
    • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (Web API, WCF, etc.) is a plus
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience  
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills  
    • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis

    Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations.

    The salary range for this role is from $80,000 to $120,000.    Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.  Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.  Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
