The Role
Prudential is seeking a Project Manager with a proven track record of managing and delivering high-quality programs in financial services or similar highly technical yet service-oriented industries. The person filling this role will be instrumental in gathering the analytics and insights of Prudential’s digital platform and providing analysis that will feed into the product team to bring forth successful adoption of new features and functionality across external & internal customers, channel sales intermediaries, and institutional clients.
This is a manager role requiring cross-functional customer centric view into Prudential’s several business units including retirement/401K, group insurance, asset management, life insurance and annuities. The right person will have good mix of understanding customer needs, as well as the internal operational and call center processes that impact customer experience.
What Will My Role at Prudential Look like?
As Project Manager, you will work with different team members on complex and important projects. You will independently initiate or lead different projects requests, be responsible for planning and implementation of projects supporting reporting objectives for revenue, volume, profit, customer satisfaction, retention, etc. and analyze economic considerations, develop forecasts, prepare pricing studies, and manage program budgets. In this role you will also evaluate results and direct improvement efforts and hypotheses for further testing. This role includes segment marketing activities and requires advanced knowledge of analytics and forecasting. The work from the Project Manager will help shape, direct, and execute our product vision for Prudential.com. You'll be challenged to blend customer-centric principles with industry-changing innovation. You will work with the marketing and digital technology teams to create experiences that reinforce the Prudential brand by delighting and wowing our customers.
Responsibilities include:
Create reports that are targeted at Prudential existing customers, prospects, as well as new customers
Research data from different analytic platforms to provide research and insights to senior leadership
Partner with marketing teams on copy, creative, and rollout of different product enhancements
Create and maintain product requirements and documentation to inform the product lifecycle from idea through release and maintenance
Serve as a product evangelist with Marketing, Sales, our customers, and our partners
Work closely with internal business teams, operations, and call centers to create superior service experience
Your Expertise
What you’ll need to succeed:
• 3+ years of Project Management experience in internet enabled businesses
• Proven experience in gathering analytics and transforming customer/business needs into an actionable product enhancements
• Understanding of customer transactions and communication, digital marketing, operational workflows, internet technologies, as well as development methodology for a complex multi-business website
• Understanding of marketing automation and CRM tools
• Understanding of analytic and web measurement tools like Adobe Analytics
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Experience in financial services companies a huge plus

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $108,000.00 to $160,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
