Timeline:

The internship program will run from Monday, June 5th, 2023, to Friday, August 11th, 2023. We review applications on a rolling basis, and we encourage you to apply as soon as you are ready.

Your Day-To-Day:

As a Finance & Strategy MBA Summer Associate, you’ll find yourself working side-by-side with leaders and on diverse teams to help inform strategies to drive business results and outcomes while experiencing a customer obsessed, fully inclusive, risk smart, and tech forward culture.

We aim to attract and develop the next generation of leaders at Prudential. During the program, you will receive significant exposure to senior leadership, as well as targeted training, all while gaining hands-on experience.

Your placement during the 10-week summer experience will provide you growth and development that are both aligned with business goals and your career aspirations. You’ll also be considered for a full-time position upon completion of the 10-week program.

Placements experiences within our Finance & Strategy Summer Associate Program can include:

• Corporate Development/Mergers & Acquisitions
• U.S. Business Finance & Strategy (i.e. Retirement’s Pension Risk Transfer Business Finance Office)
• Emerging Markets
• International Treasury
• PGIM
• Strategic Initiatives

Program Highlights:

• Placements are based in Newark, NJ, which is an easy commute from NYC or suburban NJ.
• Hybrid work arrangement: ability to work part of the week in the office as well as remotely
• An inclusive and collaborative corporate climate! Social activities and networking events with fellow MBA Associates as well as Senior Leadership.
• Dedicated Senior Mentors and Program team to assist with career and leadership development

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing MBA Degree with anticipated graduation dates of May/June 2024
• 4-5 years professional work experience
• Prudential does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the requisite US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration.

P****referred Skills:

• Demonstrated successes in leadership, agility, and ability to be adaptable
• Knowledge of international markets and corporate finance theory
• Strong analytical, financial modeling and excel skills
• Strong written, oral communication, leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated interest in financial services industry
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred, but not required
