    RELS is seeking an Asset Management Analyst. The candidate will monitor collateral and credit performance for commercial mortgage loan portfolios across multiple capital sources including analyzing in-place or expected stabilized cash flows with market trends. This role will work closely with portfolio managers, asset managers, various investors and agencies. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to learn and expand a broad range of financial, credit, analytical, and presentation skills. The candidate will possess good common sense, the ability to work well in a team environment, a sense of urgency, sound business judgment and will be reliable - demonstrating an elevated level of integrity.

    What You Can Expect

    • Analyze historical operating trends for various property types, identifying variances and potential areas of risk associated with the operations of the property. Provide written analysis identifying key trends and issues, noting any corresponding mitigants. Discuss relevant issues and provide remedies.
    • Provide analytical support to senior members of the team on a myriad of assignments, including historical trend analysis, cash flow modeling, risk analysis, property valuation, market analysis, and borrower and tenant credit analysis.
    • Attention to accurate detail, take initiative to continually improve the integrity of portfolio information and meet capital source reporting timelines.
    • Research and analyze market data, supervise trends and comparable transactions with portfolio cash flows to determine collateral value and risk.

    The successful candidate will benefit from a broad exposure to many aspects of RELS’s commercial real estate servicing business including:

    • Advancement of credit and real estate valuation skills.
    • Opportunity to travel for property inspections.
    • Exposure to various commercial property types (multifamily, industrial, retail, office, hospitality and healthcare) and real estate markets throughout the US, Europe and Asia.
    • Experience with multiple real estate capital sources and lending programs.
    • Direct interaction with members of RELS, PGIM RE, senior management, borrowers, investors and agencies.
    • Advancement of critical skills required in asset management and origination roles.

    What You Will Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Real Estate or a related field
    • Understanding of basic financial modeling and valuation terms, concepts and methodologies
    • Real Estate, Investment, Finance, or Accounting experience (0 – 2 years preferred)
    • Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability
    • Computer proficiency with a successful working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Solid interpersonal and customer service skills are crucial, including the skillsto create/build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Robust organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to handle several projects simultaneously and prioritize work based on established timelines.
