Senior Business Analyst
We’re currently searching for an experienced business analyst to help guide our organization into the future. From researching progressive systems solutions to evaluating their impact, our ideal candidate is a detailed planner, expert communicator, and top-notch analyst. They should be wholly committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape.
The incumbent is a professional who identifies goals, develops best practices for data collection, and analyzes current processes so that they may be improved to the greatest extent possible.

Key Responsibilities
Integrate and analyze multiple disparate data sources from a variety of systems, such as structured and unstructured data, speech analytics, digital footprints, customer behavior, financial information, and secondary sources, as appropriate, with a goal to discover meaningful insights for businesses to make concrete business decisions. Develop impactful visuals that effectively tell the story Present analysis results with appropriate conclusions and actionable insights. Mine data to uncover patterns and to identify business trends and new opportunities for using analytics. Report on measurable OKR's, milestones, and ensure solutions are delivered on-time, in budget, and with high quality outcomes. Proactively identify project issues/risks/opportunities and suggest/implement solutions to improve the overall delivery. Engage with business to get feedback and ensure insights are actionable and meet the business needs. Willingness to experiment and learn new tools and technologies. Be an active member of an Agile team, participating in all ceremonies and continuous improvement activities and training of junior or new team members.
Technical Skills Required
Data Analytics & Insights: Analyzing structured and unstructured data to identify insights, patterns, discrepancies, anomalies, and business trends; Integration of data from disparate sources (internal/external); Ability to synthesize results and make business recommendations.
Statistics and Computing: Strong knowledge of Probability, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science
Data Visualization: Working knowledge of using data visualization tools: e.g., MS Excel, Tableau, PBI
Data Wrangling: Preparing data for further analysis; Transforming and mapping raw data to generate insights; Processing of large datasets (structured, unstructured); Data wrangling through DataRobot or programming/coding: Python, SQL, etc. would be an advantage
Database Management System: Knowledge of big data tools: Spark, Knowledge of cloud technology: AWS services
Consultative Skills
Consults with business stakeholders to understand business needs/challenges and deliver actionable analytics/insights solutions. Engages with business to answer targeted analytical questions and generate insights from data. Analyzes large data sets (structured, unstructured) to identify insights and patterns/trends using a variety of analytical techniques (descriptive, diagnostic, prescriptive). Develops presentations and other deliverables to synthesize and communicate key insights and advise with recommendations to drive business outcomes.
Qualifications
Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $83,300.00 to $124,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
