    Our Role:

    As part of the PPC Information Technology & Services team, we support PGIM Private Capital with both vendor and internally designed applications, processes and reporting.  We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on manager with a strong background in in production and release management to support our team. You will showcase your success through problem solving, issues management, collaboration, ownership and innovation. Your knowledge of process improvement and risk assessment will help keep our competitive edge.     Position Overview:

    • Provide comprehensive consultation to business clients and IT colleagues on areas of Production Support
    • Work closely with all IT stakeholders (i.e. architecture, BSA’s, project managers, and developers) to drive and own support of the PPC IT&S Requests system ensuing timely resolution of open issues
    • Review incidents that arise and determine where enhancements can improve processes
    • Research and help evaluate alternative technological options in support of complex business challenges and recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions
    • Provide leadership for release management processes
    • Ensure end of life technical items are known and incorporated into the project road map
    • Support and identify metrics for Key process indicators

    Your Impact:

    • Partner with internal IT staff to provide timely resolution of production issues
    • Partner with PCG business clients to gain an understanding of business requirements with the goal of anticipating business needs
    • Provide technical support for production issues resulting from new deployments or other scenarios, and implementing fixes to prevent future outages 
    • Recommend appropriate resolutions for incident management
    • Act as expert for release management processes
    • Analyze business requirements and help to determine implementation strategies 
    • Understand and follow the complete Software Development Life Cycle methodology   
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with Information Technology team and business partners 
    • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously   

    Your Required Skills:

    • Minimum 8 years of IT Service Management experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.  
    • Relevant experience in the financial services industry a plus.
    • SQL Server development experience required (T-SQL, stored procedures, optimization techniques, SSIS) 
    • Knowledge of Salesforce and JIRA are strongly recommended
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  
    • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis.

    The salary range for this role is from $110,00 to $160,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

    Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.

    Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement
