This is a highly visible platform that supports our U.S. Life, Retirement Strategies, and Institutional business administration functions. The strategic administration platform is a critical component to our success as it supports our current business and our goals and objectives of growing our businesses. As a seasoned technical delivery manager, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong technical insight, as well as a drive for continuous learning.
This is a critical technical role with responsibility for the oversight of our infrastructure and vendor resources that underpin the foundation of our strategic administrative platform. The Specialist, Service Delivery Management will partner with the PO and have input into discussions around options and trade-offs, assist in decisions that reduce impact to our current business. Along with partnering closely with the teams Product Owner, you will be expected to solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact across our U.S. business lines.
Location is Newark hybrid (minimum of 2 days/week in office).
Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day
Execute on the PO's strategic vision for the platform, while maintaining support of the Legacy implementation
Provide constant feedback to the team and offering up improvements that stabilize the existing implementation
Collaborate with the PO and team members to define the backlog that supports the Legacy platform enhancements and future strategic needs
Understand the system end-to-end and deliver robust solutions that bring about business impact and support the goals.
Implement automated DevOps enhancements to streamline deployments
Bring a strong understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, provide input and coach other team members and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering; or experience in related fields
Knowledge of full software development life cycle (SDLC)
Prior hands-on experience with supporting vendor relationships and technical resources
Proven ability to execute and deliver results
Experience in working with DevOps automation tools & practices
Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills; enjoy learning new skills.
Proven ability to work effectively by leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
Strong belief in a non-hierarchal structure of collaboration, transparency and trust
Ability to find creative solutions and drive out of the box ideas
Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches to effectively lead the team
Knowledge of
Cloud Computing: Understanding of AWS, Azure or GCP a plus
Programming Languages: .Net, Powershell, Python, Java or JavaScript
Data Store: Relational Data structures, MSSQL
Application Programming Interfaces (APIs): Concepts, Web Services, Rest Services

The salary range for this role is from $90,100.00 to $134,100.00.
