    In support of the enterprise’s transformation journey, Prudential’s Global Technology (GT) group is focused on optimizing its technology, operations, and cost footprint to ensure that the business is well-positioned for the future. Its’ Sourcing and Workforce Solutions  team is a key enabler of GT’s integrated strategy, ensuring that the right resource, location, and sourcing solutions are deployed to create measurable results and exceptional business impact. As an Analyst in the Strategic Global Partner Management (SGPM) team, you will perform activities to ensure that Prudential manages and optimizes key strategic partnership relationships during the entire contract lifecycle while maintaining the value proposition aligned to their business case(s).

    Reporting directly to the VP, Strategic Global Partner Management, you will be part of a fast-paced team responsible for delivering exemplary business impact through contract and relationship management.  Leveraging your capabilities in supplier management, and partnership building, you will be responsible for aligning the needs of the Prudential Business leaders with the contractual obligations of various strategic partners, including management of transformational initiatives, investments made by suppliers and changing requirements over the life of the relationship.  The candidate will need to be comfortable and able to work as both an individual contributor and within a shared team environment.  You will work closely with the VP to execute a program that governs all aspects of strategic provider performance, to include but not limited to vendor issue tracking and resolution, financial baselining and measurement, tracking and monitoring of operational metrics and performance, and risk registers.  Support for transition of Prudential work to strategic vendors is part of the remit; you will support programs to shift work to partners and locations.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Responsible for understanding and ability to reference the MSA
    • Develops and monitors a list of deliverables and obligations as defined within the services agreement
    • Coordinates and tracks Contract Changes (incl. evaluation, negotiations, contract-management approval, physical update of contract, etc.)
    • Work with the VP to design and develop a comprehensive three-tier provider management program to include all elements of performance monitoring and tracking
    • Take responsibility to analyze the root cause of issues, and determine strategies to resolve Monitor and report on enterprise-wide strategic sourcing financial performance; take action to resolve
    • Analyze performance against the Global Technology Sourcing Blueprint, tracking service quality and other metrics and develop strategies to cure
    • Provide consultation to business units and corporate centers
    • Work closely with other Workforce and Sourcing Solutions team members on critical initiatives; assess the impact of demand and sourcing initiatives on strategic partner governance and transition
    • Manage “deal value” by effectively structuring and managing all contractual terms and ensuring that suppliers deliver services as required, negotiating changes as and when needed either for new services or to provide clarifications of ambiguous terms.  Manage investment obligations and other transformative projects as required by the contractual documents and other aspects of the contract and relationship in a way that optimizes the overall business case for Prudential
    • Manage a range of stakeholders including Global Technology and business unit executives – Drive critical meetings and routines
    • Use of commercially available contract management tools a plus

    Qualifications:

    • BS or BA degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent. MBA a plus.
    • 10-15 years’ experience working in a strategic sourcing or vendor management team in the Financial Services/insurance industry

    Technical competencies:

    • Knowledge of best practice information technology sourcing strategies
    • Track record effectively governing complex strategic partner relationships
    • Experience successfully transitioning and managing work to third party providers
    • Experience directing analytics initiatives
    • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and manage multiple projects
    • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
    • People development and leadership skills
    • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving acumen
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills and presentation skills with a focus on informing, influencing and relationship building
    • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, including the ability to interface with members of senior management
    • Demonstrated leadership and partnering skills, including success in influencing others outside of direct reporting line

    Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $77,100.00 to $114,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
