Job Description

• We are looking for a talented, self-motivated candidate who is proficient in Java-based application development, experienced and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Work closely within a cross-functional Agile delivery team to understand requirements, create development story design documents, and implement stories
• Participate in peer code reviews 
• Develop and update technical design documents
• Develop RESTful services and APIs
The main technologies used on the project include Microservices, JavaScript, Angular, Java, Spring, Spring boot, SQL Server, Hibernate, and Git/BitBucket.

Qualifications

MUST-HAVES:

U.S. Citizen/ U.S. Legal Permanent Resident/ Green Card Holder
Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance (Public Trust)

• 2- 4 years of experience in developing Java-based applications using Spring or equivalent frameworks
• Exp working with Microservices Architecture
• Exp working within an Agile development team
• Exp participating in peer code reviews
• Exp with Object-Oriented Design
• Exp with SQL and data structure design
• Exp with API design and development
• Fluency in a versioning system, preferably GIT
• Some familiarity with relational databases
• Working knowledge of styling the user interface using XHTML/HTML5/CSS content and JavaScript
• Bachelor’s Degree required from college or University

NICE TO HAVE:

• Exp working with Microservices solution development and delivery
• Prior exp in a consulting firm or agency
• Exp with enterprise search platforms such as SOLR
• Exp with AWS, Azure, Cloud computing
• Exp with BPM workflow solutions
• Exp with document management solutions
