Job Description

As a Technology Director within our Strategy & Consulting practice focused on Financial Services, you will provide the technical expertise and vision to lead multidisciplinary teams working with our Financial Services clients to shape and deliver business transformation agendas. You will work closely with our experience, engineering, product and delivery teams to shape and plan the implementation of digital solutions enabling the vision.

You will lead a broad range of projects, including developing digital & technology strategy, architecture, operating models, technology product evaluation & selection and roadmap & business case development.

You will have a minimum of 10+ years of Technology Strategy Consulting experience within a leading consulting firm and/or a similar role within a large corporate. We are looking for the right blend of consulting, industry, strategy/architecture and technology knowledge. We would expect that you are well versed in the latest digital technologies. You will have previous experience working with and building strong, trusted relationships with key technology and digital leaders (CTO, CIO, CDO).

Your Impact:

• Shape & lead pursuits of digital & technology-driven consulting and transformation programs.
• Develop client propositions by pooling in industry and strategy & consulting teams as appropriate.
• Work with clients to understand their business drivers & strategies and customer experience visions to develop the appropriate technology strategies.
• Lead digital & technology transformation execution programs.
• Design and implement client technology & digital operating models to enable their transformation plans.
• Develop technology architectural blueprints and advise on strategic technology platform options to deliver on the technology strategies.
• Develop technology roadmaps, business cases, risk mitigation plans, etc., to shape the business transformation programs.
• Provide mentoring and leadership to other strategy & consulting team members.
• Support hiring and people management.

Qualifications

• Experience developing technology strategies underpinning digital business transformation for Financial Services clients in particular banks.
• Experience leading large digital / technology transformation programs.
• Understanding of technology ecosystems in Financial Services, including experience of core banking platforms.
• Understanding of cloud first banking platforms, and other key cloud capabilities.
• Understanding of modern architectural practices & designs.
• Solid consulting skills and experience consulting to C-level clients.
• Solid problem solving intrinsic and analytics skills.
• Strong team player, driven by business value creation.
• Digitally led enthusiast.
• Excellent written, verbal, numerical and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Appreciation for agile ways of working.
