Job Description

• You could be a part of leading the design, build, optimisation and deployment of state-of-the-art automated monitoring tools. Or you could be leading continuous development, build and optimisation of single end-to-end extensible frameworks that can holistically deploy Front End, Back End, API and Big Data pipelines for Enterprise scale applications.  
•  You will thrive in playing a key technical role in helping to drive clients’ adoption of strategic initiatives, enabling our clients to become Agile by employing a start-up like approach to software delivery on an enterprise scale.  
• You will have the opportunity to improve your skills with our technical community throughout your career, in particular via our KED (knowledge sharing day), occurring once a month. 
• You will be able to share your experiences and learnings on our technical blog, as a speaker or attend the most popular conferences (Devoxx, VivaTechnology), have a major role at our Paris Container Day conference and, why not, to create your own TechEvent, with the support of all the Sapients! 

Qualifications

• What are we looking for in you? 

  You are a technologist at heart and in craft. You are equally comfortable working with deep technology specialists, creatives and strategists.  You have a genuine appreciation for creativity and an interest in technology and its impact on humankind. You display intellectual curiosity and openness to learn about new industries, new fields, new disciplines and are excited by change and learning. 

  Do you have the following? 

• A hands-on experience creating application build pipelines. Recently you have been acting in a Lead SRE/DevOps capacity. 

• Passion for code quality. A strong understanding of the entire DevOps toolchain from a quality perspective. 

• Definition, scoping and planning of new technology solutions for clients. This includes determining how to measure business results, modelling current/future business processes, gathering technical requirements and identifying the organizational changes required.  

• Ability to drive our clients to a true modern DevOps culture. 

• You have architectural knowledge with one or more of micro-service architecture, 12 Factor Applications and event-driven architectures, DevOps/Automation, and Security. 

• Deep knowledge of the software container ecosystem : Kubernetes, Service Mesh, Docker, etc 

• Strong experience on Cloud Services (e.g. Amazon AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud) 

• Experience in implementing observability techniques in your projects (metrics, logs, tracing, alerting, …) 

• Hands-on skills, and project experience with automated delivery and infra-as-code tools - one or more of Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform    

• Hands-on skills, and project experience on build management servers such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc 

• Good proficiency in Shell Scripting and in one or more languages, such as Python, Groovy, Go and Rust. 

• Good infrastructure knowledge - Operating Systems, VM’s, Containers, Proxy, Nginx 

• Working knowledge of non-functional, functional and unit test frameworks and tools. 

• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage client accounts and multi-track global teams.
