Job Description

The Senior Architect(NodeJS) drives the translation and construction of a client's business problems into innovative technology solutions by creating and owning the technical vision of the project and ensuring that the vision is achieved with a high level of quality. They are also responsible for mentoring and coaching people and providing technology- related thought leadership, including supporting sales activities.

Your role

We are essentially looking for a Senior Manager Tech / Enterprise Architect (NodeJS) ideally with exposure to Financial Services market. Someone who can play an Enterprise architect role and can guide the clients in System integration projects.

As a Senior Manager will use your technical expertise in enterprise architecture and deep understanding of the issues and trends relevant to the financial services industry today to realize ground breaking technology solutions.

You will provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary, distributed teams guiding systems design, architecture, user interface, and integration and development processes. You will also bring your experience to research and inform on enterprise-wide trends. 

Key Skills :

• Hands-on programming experience in NodeJS
• Expert knowledge of NodeJS
• Knowledge of JavaScript Programming
• Well versed with programming tools like VS Code or other code editors, Github, ESLint
• Design, develop and implement unit and component testing
• Experience in RESTful API development
• Designing and building microservices
• Experience in Public Cloud Platforms – GCP (Google Cloud)
• Excellent database experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases including SQL Server & MySQL
• Understanding & experience creating APIs using Swagger
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes
• Proven experience as a Developer, with a successful track record of designing and implementing quality software products
• Working on enterprise grade products – scalability, performance, security, testing

Set Yourself Apart With:

• 15+ years of experience and hands on NodeJS Architecture
• Expert knowledge in building cloud native applications (GCP)
• Working experience creating high performing applications including profiling and tuning (of those applications to boost performance)
• Exposure to Kafka, Scala, Docker, Cloud Pub-sub
• A good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of various infrastructures (on-premise, cloud)
• Good understanding of the full software development life cycle
• Experience in providing technical leadership to large integration engagements through the lifecycle
• Experience in system configuration, customization/implementation, integration and testing
• Experience working in an agile software development environment
• Understands development architecture and has had experience in leading teams to deliver successfully

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
