What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer - GCP, to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. 

You will use your problem-solving and creative skills to design and develop infrastructure interfaces for complex business applications, contribute ideas for improvements in DevOps practices, delivering innovation through automation. We are on a mission to transform the world, and you will be instrumental in shaping how we do it with your ideas, thoughts, and solutions.

Sharpen your technical skills by:

• Implementing application build and deployment infrastructure for highly available and fault tolerant applications
• Implementing and maintain DevSecOps tool chains to help mitigate security vulnerabilities early enough and automate quality gates
• Building and implementing Infrastructure as code for cloud infrastructure solutions for distributed systems and applications
• Working very closely with application development teams to understand product feature pipelines

Qualifications

What are we looking for in you?

• A background in cloud Infrastructure Engineering/DevOps, deploying and maintaining multi-tiered application architectures
• Public cloud platform - GCP (Google Cloud)
• Chef and/or Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE) or OpenShift, CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI, CodeBuild including integration of other commonly used DevOps tooling such as SonarQube, Nexus etc.
• Experience of scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, Go.

Additionally, experience with the following will be an added advantage:

• Observability platforms such Elastic, New Relic, AppDynamics or similar
• Understanding of common workflows such as Git Workflow.
• Integrating security testing tools such as Zaproxy, CheckMarx, Veracode, etc.
• Deployment management tools such as Harness, Spinnaker, UrbanDeploy as well as experience of various deployment strategies such as canary, blue green, etc.
• Experience in implementing monitoring, alerting, and logging
• Build tools such as Gradle, MSBuild, NPM or similar
