Job Description

Your role

We are essentially looking for a Senior Manager Tech/ Enterprise Architect ideally with exposure to Energy markets.

Someone who can play an architect role and can guide the clients in System integration projects.

An understanding of the Energy trading landscape will be an added advantage and can lead to a variety of solutions for our clients from Market Data implementation to Risk reporting or ETRM System integration. 

As a Senior Manager Tech / Enterprise Architect you will use your technical expertise in solution architecture and deep understanding of the issues and trends relevant to the energy trading industry today to realize groundbreaking technology solutions for our clients.

You will provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary, distributed teams guiding systems design, architecture, user interface, and integration and development processes. You will work closely with the client’s technology and management teams. You will also bring your experience to research and inform on enterprise-wide trends. 

Your Impact:

• Provide technical leadership for Energy and commodity projects
• Lead the design, planning, and implementation of complex IT solutions
• Provide leadership and set technical direction to project team
• Work closely with the client to establish technology strategy at an application level
• Translate the client’s business requirements into systems design
• Establish high, mid and micro-level project plans
• Drive estimation efforts for new projects
• Identify and mitigate key risks
• Establish competencies and knowledge management
• Support business development and proposal work
• Drive improvements of techno-functional solutions and workflows
• Verify technical feasibility and validate solution options for the requirements

Qualifications

• Good understanding of the full software development life cycle
• Experience in providing technical leadership to large integration engagements through the lifecycle
• Experience in system configuration, customization/implementation, integration and testing; hands on experience in at least 2 of the above areas
• Experience working in an agile software development environment
• Understands development architecture and has had experience in leading teams to deliver successfully
• Experience in consulting clients through a Monolithic to Micro services transition journey.
• Experience with Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins
