The Qualcomm Camera Team is seeking a passionate systems algorithm engineer with focus in machine learning technologies. The camera team creates embedded imaging solutions for Snapdragon chipsets that power modern mobile devices. Our solutions leverage dedicated hardware, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU to deliver exceptional pictures, videos, and computer vision capabilities.
Responsibilities for the position include the following:
• Research, design and develop novel deep learning solutions for camera processing, computer vision and related areas
• Propose and optimize system and algorithmic designs to improve machine learning inference speed
• Collaborate cross-functionally to share ideas, communicate results, and drive solutions
Essential Qualifications:
• Strong background in digital image processing and computer vision
• Experience developing deep learning models using Pytorch, Tensorflow, or other deep learning frameworks
• Experience with Python is essential
• Academic research (publications, papers etc.) in machine learning
• Understanding of the state-of-the-art in Deep Learning research

Pay range:
$112,800.00 - $169,200.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
