General Summary:

The Potential Areas To Work Include:

• The main responsibility of this position is to do the performance analysis for world-class snapdragon CPU subsystem for mobile and portable computers.
• Performance validation
• Competitive analysis
• Performance projection
• Performance bottleneck analysis
• Benchmark and workload characterization
• CPU architecture/micro-architecture research
• Performance modeling

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience on performance analysis and validation works
• Experience in IP or system performance modeling
• Experience in benchmark workload characterization and performance bottleneck analysis
• Hands-on experience with performance verification on simulator or emulator
• Familiar with ARMv8/v9 architecture
• Knowledge of OS, firmware and software stacks
• Familiar with GCC/LLVM compilation flow
