Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.

    About the role

    We are looking for Feature Development Engineers joining one of our Customer Functions Teams doing end-to-end Automated Driving (AD) functions development. You will take ownership of various customer functions, assuming responsibility for requirements, development, simulation, implementation, integration, and testing.

    What you'll do:

    • Take end-to-end responsibility for Level 2 Automated Driving Comfort Features

    • Develop Feature Software in C++

    • Develop tools in Python

    • Define system requirements based on stakeholder requirements and derive software requirements

    • Continuous development through defining and measuring feature KPIs as well as holistic testing

    • Evaluate effect chain and its impact on overall feature performance

    • Define test specifications on product level and SW level

    • Test AD feature in SIL, HIL or Vehicle

    • Analyse log files and bug reports

    • Work in agile team according to SCRUM framework

    Minimum Qualifications:

    •    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
    OR
    Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
    OR
    PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

    What you'll bring:

    • Degree of Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar

    • Experience in Feature Software Development in ADAS/AD Area

    • Experience in feature design and requirements elicitation

    • Good skills in C/C++ with proven experience

    • Knowledge in data structures, algorithms and design patterns

    • Knowledge about tools like CodeBeamer, git, Jenkins, Gerrit, CMake, static analysis tools

    • Experience in perception, HD maps or localization is a plus

    • Knowledge about safety standards like ISO26262 is a plus

    • Fluency in English

    • Experience with agile methodologies in a cross-functional team is a plus

    • A mindset of challenging the status quo and finding creative ways to do things.
