Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional groups to determine product execution path.

We are seeking both Digital Design & Verification Engineers for our Infra Sensors SnapDragon team in Cork, Ireland. In this particular team you will be working within Infra Sensors Controller Subsystem where new technologies and IPs are being developed from scratch. You will be using latest Design and Verification methodologies to work with Complex Power Aware IP, Interconnect Infrastructure and other Intelligent IPs to deliver advanced technologies to the market

Our Cork site is home to a range of digital teams working on cutting edge designs for the latest Snapdragon chip sets. The teams work on several key digital domains including Advanced HW Security, GPU, Power Control, Sensors, Wearables, Automotive, AR and many more.

Each team is working with the latest tools and digital design and verification techniques in bleeding edge silicon nodes, 5nm and below. Team members work directly with architecture, software and SoC teams in Ireland and other global Qualcomm locations.

What Are We Looking For Design Verification roles

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in design and verification on SoCs and SoC Methodologies for verifying complex units on SoC using industry standard tools and technologies
• Proficient in developing unit and subsystem level test benches using UVM
• Constrained random functional verification environment in System Verilog
• Experience in Gate Level Simulation (GLS) verification flow for SoC verification
• Experience with debugging test failures
• Strong knowledge of verification planning, coverage analysis, pseudo and constrained random techniques, assertion based and formal verification techniques with System Verilog
• Experience with Verilog, C/C++, System C, TCL/Perl/shell-scripting
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced team environment
• Experience with power aware verification and knowledge of UPF is a plus
• Building and leading verification teams is a plus
• Excellent communication skills

What Are We Looking For Digital Design roles:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
• ASIC design experience including macro and micro architecture, RTL design in Verilog/VHDL.
• Experience in working with AMBA protocols like AHB, AXI and APB
• Experience in LINT and CDC tools.
• Experience in analysing and debugging with Synopsys simulation tools like Verdi.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary, global team focused on advanced, high-volume applications.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player
• Strong technical leadership and coaching skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
