General Summary:

At Qualcomm XR Labs Europe we develop state-of-the-art computer vision, deep learning and graphics solutions to deliver ultra-optimised, power-efficient software and hardware to enable the intelligent perception of the world around us.

To scale and strengthen our offering in this domain, we are expanding and seeking candidates to help us develop the fundamental perception systems enabling self-contained XR platforms.

The Position is for Spain, Madrid.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of data collection pipelines for different XR/AR/VR devices

• Design and implementation of C++ API’s for different perception modules

• Implementation of testing system, that enables our R&D team to collect, process and evaluate their experiments

• Helping our MLOps and DevOps teams to streamline the R&D process

• Helping with designing and implementation of functional and Integration testing

Critical “Must Have” skills/experience for role

• 5+ years of experience in professional software engineering

• Good knowledge of C++

• Proficiency with Linux environment

• Experience with CMake

• Strong skills in algorithms, data structures, software development principles

• Excellent communication and writing skills (English, level B2+)

• System and analytical thinking

Preferred skills/experience for role

• Experience with Python and Bash

• Additional programming languages: C#, Boo, JavaScript

• Experience with Conan package manager

• Experience with Unity3D, Unreal Engine

• Experience with DevOps / MLOps

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS

• Experience with Kubernetes

• QA experience
