System Test Engineer

General Summary:

Tests and modifies general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware. Interprets wireless specifications. Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers. Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content. Develops testing programs that assess effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system.

What you'll do?

• Design relevant test cases with the target to ensure the best coverage of the requirements for features like: Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Collision avoidance features (Lane Support System, Traffic Assist, Risk Mitigation Support), High Beam Assist.

• Implement automated test scenarios using CANoe / CAPL.

• Review on Requirements and Test Cases.

• Create and use rest-bus simulation environments (CANoe);

• Assure that the project is developed according to Qualcomm quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

What you'll bring?

• Knowledge of CAN communication protocol.

• Experience with Vector tools such as CANoe, CANdela;

• Familiarity with C or Python programming language.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Eagerness to develop your technical skills and try new things.

Is an advantage:

• Experience in designing test cases and test automation solutions.

• GIT knowledge; Continuous Integration knowledge.

• ISTQB certification.

• Agile mindset and experience with SCRUM.
