General Summary:

As a Wifi MAC Architect you will work on defining MAC IP  catering to upcoming WiFi standards like Wifi9 (11bn)  and beyond. You will have opportunity to contribute to the life cycle of the technology right from IP specification, till productization/customer deployments, leveraging your architecture, design, and post silicon debug expertise.

• Responsible to translate customer and standardization bodies requirements into state-of-the-art IP architectures and detailed target specifications.

• Define the architecture, micro-architecture, and hardware software partition for next generation high performance Wifi L2/L3 systems.

• Defining innovative and robust architectural plans targeting high performance, lowest power consumption, smallest system size and lowest cost solutions

• Drive the feasibility assessment of new Feature requests.

• Writing and maintaining HLDs and SWI documentation

• Analyzing related technologies and market trends; competitive analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Experience: -

• 8-20 years’ experience in Digital Design

• Solid working experience as a system/HW architect

• Knowledge in SoC architecture, including CPUs ,multi-domain clocking, bus interconnect structures, and power management.

• Good knowledge in networking and Wireless connectivity technologies: IEEE 802.11  a/b/g/n/ac/ax  is desired, but not a must.

• Understanding of embedded software and software architectures preferred
