Position summary
Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our dynamic program finance team. This position is an excellent opportunity to learn program finance fundamentals and enhance finance-related skills. The candidate will participate in a wide variety of challenging tasks in a fast-paced environment ranging from direct support of multi-million dollar programs, to cross-program coordination within the business area. Responsibilities may include reporting, planning, and analysis, as well as management briefings. The candidate will work in a team environment to provide Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) processing, bookings and sales forecasting, monitoring of management metrics, monthly and weekly reporting, and Earned Value Management (EVM) cost control and analysis.
Requirements:
•U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access U.S. only data systems
•Working experience with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
•Experience in financial analysis or a related field
•Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment
•Initiative to participate in process improvement
•Critical thinking skills and ability to make connections between technical and financial impacts
•Strong communication and collaboration skills
•Excellent desire to learn and contribute in a team-based environment
Desired Requirements:
•Familiarity with financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.)
•Strong presentation skills, including small and/or large audiences
•Experience with collaboration tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
•Familiarity with and working knowledge of SAP/APEX/PRISM
Required Education:
- Must have a BS / BA with a major in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Math, or other related field by June 2022
- This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
- Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.
