This position manages a small plant/branch or a department that includes multiple teams led by Managers and/or Supervisors in General Management, manages customer facing roles, sets short- and long-term organizational objectives for all OE Operational areas, negotiates contracts with vendors, develops new business growth strategies, and represents the organization as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Works with customers and may serve as face of the organization as a leader to public consumers. Includes full accountability of the workforce. Oversees the operations of one or multiple business segments or product groups which may include a country, region or MRO/plant. Has P&L or cost center responsibility within a geographic area, business segment or portfolio.
• Owns the execution of long-term strategy (e.g., more than 3 years) and operational direction, typically for an entire region, country, product or business of considerable size and scope.
• Owns the establishment and execution of short- to medium-term operational plans (e.g., less than 1 year to 1-2 years) for the organization.
• Problems faced are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis.
• Requires ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.
• Monitors the execution of operations and/or projects to meet established targets and metrics.
• Sets and monitors medium term organizational goals and objectives to ensure alignment with broader organizational strategies.
• Develops operational and financial objectives for all OE Operational areas in order to plan ahead to manage and mitigate all risks to the business.
• Directs a multi-functional team to ensure area of responsibility meets business strategy goals and objectives.
• Negotiates and/or approves contracts and agreements with suppliers, distributors, federal and state agencies, and other organizational entities to ensure that the organization's interests are protected.
• Develops new business growth strategies to increase profitability and market share of the organization.
• Represents the organization as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders in order to present a positive image of the organization.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of experience or an Advanced Degree and 10+ years of experience
• US Citizenship or US Person Status required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications

• Business or Engineering degree with experience leading remote teams
• Experience with Customer facing roles
