We are seeking a Senior Integration and Test Engineer II to join a multi-disciplinary group of Systems, Hardware, Firmware, and Software Engineers.
Position can be in El Segundo, CA first choice or Fullerton, CA second choice.
Responsibilities:
Support a multidiscipline team of engineers developing, integrating, testing, and certifying programmable cryptographic modules and systems
Responsible for leading integration and test activities throughout the execution of the program, meeting cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
Develop and execute test artifacts throughout the lifecycle of the program
Work closely with a team of software, firmware, systems, and hardware engineers to ensure implementation meets the product requirements
Support the definition of production operations artifacts (concepts, drawings, procedures, schedules, and planning) for programmable cryptographic modules and systems
Lead/attend technical interchange meetings with customers and company team members in matters pertaining to the development of assigned projects
Ensure the integrity of all engineering products, drawings, plans and specifications, requirements allocation products, system architecture, design analyses, and interface descriptions
Create required project documentation in support of contract deliverables, including development plans, requirement and design specifications, and test documents
Required Qualifications:
Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams with other team members and customers
Exposure to test verification of requirements
Exposure to integration and test procedures and plans
Efficient time management to support multiple projects concurrently
Work problems and shape solutions with customers from both a tactical and strategic perspective
Excellent organizational, decision making and communication skills
Active DoD Secret Clearance required and U.S. Citizenship is a requirement
Minimum of 5 years professional experience
Desired Qualifications:
Current or prior experience in cryptographic products and designs and certification processes
Experience executing test scripts or procedures in a hardware and software environment
Experience with environmental, electromagnetic, TEMPEST, and other qualification testing
Cyber security knowledge including Risk Management Framework or high assurance cryptographic certification
Knowledgeable with the NSA cryptographic certification process
Cryptographic Algorithm experience
Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software, Integration and Verification teams
Required Education (including Major):
5 plus years of relevant experience with completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Science- from an accredited college.
3 plus years of relevant experience with completed Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Science from an accredited college.
Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project
management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:
Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
